Houston 04/09/08 - Junot Systems, Inc., a specialist provider of embedded SAP integration solutions for the manufacturing and process industries, announced today that its NLINK® OPC to SAP® Solution was, for the third year in succession, successfully tested against a large selection of commercially available OPC servers at the North American Interoperability Workshop in California earlier this month. Junot Systems' OPC Data Access (DA), Historical Data Access (HDA) and Alarms & Events (A&E) OPC client capabilities were comprehensively tested to ensure seamless operation with each of the available OPC servers present at the workshop.

Junot Systems` NLINK OPC to SAP Solution once again achieved the requirements for the OPC Foundation Self-Tested logo. In order for an OPC DA Client to qualify to use the new Self-Tested logo, the product must be tested at an OPC Foundation Interoperability Workshop with other DA Servers and it must pass a supervised test with the OPC Foundation’s OPC Analyzer.

“After three years of consecutive attendance at the North American OPC Foundation OPC Interoperability Workshops we have now successfully tested the NLINK OPC to SAP Solution against OPC servers from 25 different companies,” said Peter Slater, President and CEO of Junot Systems, Inc. “This testing includes over a hundred different OPC servers, or different releases of OPC servers, and includes all of the leading DA, HDA and A&E products.”

The purpose of the annual Interoperability Workshop is to make sure that OPC Foundation member products work together and to validate interoperability for all required interfaces and functions, as well as to validate interoperability for any optional interfaces where practical.
